So we bought me a dd and chris is going to pick it up for me next wk. Anyone on here have an Escape hybrid or Mariner hybrid? We got an 07 Mariner hybrid, loaded... Can't wait to get 30mpg in an SUV (even though its a 4cyl) with AWD. But it's all I need.

Anyway, we have test drove and researched....just wondering if anyone on here has one or knows anyone who does and how they like the vehicle.

I got a mariner v6 4x4 loaded and its my favorite little SUV I have had or drove. Nice size and with every option it is so nice. Handles good and is fun to drive. I know its not the hybrid but I am sure you will love it. Merc makes a great little SUV.

my wife wanted one of the edge hybrids and we found out that the batteries only last around 8-10 years. They cost as much as replacing the engine. a whapping 3500 if one gets shorted out and since its a battery pack u gotta replace the whole thing. If u factor in the chance of that its not cheeper or better for the enviroment. oh yea and they are not sold aftermarket dealor only. we all know what that means.....thats not all it will need at 80k. if u buy one sell it at 50k, ull be fine! good luck

We have this '07 Merc Mariner preimer AWD V-6. Other than the small gas tank (thing barely goes 300 miles on a tank @ 24MPG) It's the first car we've ever had with heated leather seats....we love it!!!

Got our '01 Escape through Beef, it's a 4 cylinder, 5 speed, good on gas. I love it. Chad doesn't too much, he'd rather drive the mom mobile, our 96 Dodge Caravan, lol!

nice. I wanna ditch the GTP this year for something a little more gas friendly.

We had a 97 GTP, that thing was great! Put 18's on it and it still would burn 'em up!

Awesome, thanks guys :) I will post pics when we get it. Ours is red w/leather interior and will have almost 50k miles on it by the time it gets home. I kinda wanted an edge but this gets awesome mpg, looks just as nice and is cheaper

Have fun with it. SUVs are nice with the room.
