So I decided that I needed to finish my bachelors degree after not going to school for 5 ½ years (only had 2 classes to finish to graduate) and now I have to take 12 because of the time period I did not attend. This is not my gripe, my gripe is that for two classes the cost is almost 1900.00 a quarter, to have my professors stand up in the front of the class and basically toot their own horns on how great all of their accomplishments have been and what they are involved with now. I really do not give a good shit. I pay you good money to teach, teach me something. Don’t tell me to read 14 chapters and then you are going to give me a test on it. This is my second quarter back and I have honestly not learned a thing except that my one professor thinks the word what is spelled whaaaaaadddd, and that Obama is the best president ever. The other teacher has us get in groups every class and teach each other from the book how to do our projects. I understand that in the work force this is pretty much how you learn how to tackle projects but what the F am I paying these people for. The first day of class, the Obama lover didn’t even show, because she was in Arizona at a convention. Um can you say refund? I pay for a quarter of education and you do not provide the service that I am paying for send me a refund check. Do you think she would mark my grade off if I didn’t show up to class because I was at test and tune, your damn straight she would. It is no wonder why the country is in the shape it is in when the educator’s who are supposed to train us for the labor force are a bunch of lazy fu^kers that don’t think their shit stinks. Shit, they should call the local public library a University, you can read a book and teach yourself everything you need to know. I am surprised Obama has passed that one off yet as a free college education.

This has been my opinion of college in general. You pay a crazy amount of money for some asshole to stand up there and lecture you about something totally off the subject OR give you a crazy amount of work only to have your work picked apart and ridiculed. I'd much rather go to a trade school or somewhere that there is hands on learning. You basically BUY an education and then read and learn on your own. If that's all it is, there's a library where you can read all you like and learn all you want...it's just a shame that you still have to purchase your education to make it in the world.

The worst part is the Teacher who has never done the actual job but yet instructs you on how its done. I agree with the buying a education deal. Its all a joke yet the degrees are out there and people are walkng around with a 6 month on line master degree. I've taken the long road hoping to actually get a education out of it.

Those who can, do(and make a decent wage), those who can do, teach(and make more money)make the most mo,those who cant teach, teach teachers (and make the most money.

#1 reason why I haven't been motivated to finish my degree. I am ~75 credit hours short.

I think it depends a lot on what classes you are taking too. I personally didn't care for WSU either though. I finished up my prerequisites at Raymond Walters (UC) in Blue Ash. The profs there were very helpful and approachable. I took mostly sciences though, not really many others like business or communications.

I love how you send a teacher an email and they do not reply. I have been waiting for an email for a week now and no answer. And they say they care. Last week the teacher called to inform me that class was going to be held in a meeting room. Suprised I was when it was a lecture on civil rights from some lady who was friends with MLK and got to sit there and listen to her bad mouth Ronald Regan and Sexy Palin. I guess they do not like people who actually get shit done. I would have loved to asked some questions in the Q and A, but I am sure I would have been thrown out of school. If we ask a question it is racist, and if they ask a question it is a movement. Oh, I also learned that Obama is a great leader.
