I just picked up this abandoned project from a co worker, it's a '79 w/ a '85 GT driveline, '86 LX tailights & rear bumper cover. Interior is gray cloth from a '86 Notch. It has new fenders, hood & front bumper cover, it is almost totally rust free everywhere else. It needs some TLC, he gave up on it 8 years ago & shoved it the corner of the garage do to the fact the paint didn't turn out the way he wanted ( fish eyes!) Anyway Andy (Facemelter) picked it up for me & brought it home. We'll see if we can make some thing out of it, I have already purchased '79 tailights from 85_SS_302_Coupe (Dave) & think I have the proper rear bumper cover located. Wish me luck!

Thats a lot of BLUE!! paint some trim on that thing!

Seriously though, that is a killer find... I'd love to have a '79 coupe or hatch

If you ever want to get rid of that sunroof let me know... I've already reskinned one roof :bigthumb

Cool!

I just saw that car on a trailer last week (?) and wondered if it was anyone's on here. Must have been when Andy was dropping it off to you . . . .

Kinda makes me jealous that mine's not a '79! I held out on those tail lights thinking i might put them on my car someday but the work involved wasn't worth it. I'm glad to see they're getting put to good use. Are you restoring or...?

Yep,that would have been me and my buddy Austin driving the red F-250.Nice lookin coupe for sure.

Dont worry,I have plenty of parts to make his car haul ass.He will be itchin for some bigger cubes here soon.

It needs some TLC,but for a no rust coupe.I sure as hell would have bought it.Just dont have any room.

I wish I could find a steering wheel like that...

it's an 84-86 steering wheel. Pretty easy to find as most people swap them out for the more popular SVO style 3 bar steering wheel.

Yeah, I know... my '85 has an '84 column in it... and I hate the steering wheel...
