Do any of you knowledgeable modular guys know if the valve covers off a Lincoln Mark VIII are the same as the 99+ engines or are they like the 96-98 engines. Thanks guys.

The mark 8 covers should be 96-98 style.

IIRC they are all the same pre 99 when they went COP.

I am pretty sure that the valve covers changed when the heads did (1999) and the newer ones have provisions for mounting the COP coil packs.

You can still use the spark plug wires from an older motor, on newer valve covers.

I'd love to have a powdered set of older style valve covers... and an intake :D

I have set of valve covers to go with that oil pan. :D

Oh, and Kenny, If I'm not mistaken, the 97-up Mark Viii's had the newer cam covers for the COP setup
