motor is nice, but the car looks like its from Japan, and they wont get much traction with those 245s out back...

The area around the front side marker light and chin spoiler looks like total crap. They don't really flow together at all. The hood is badass though.

I swear though, it's like Carrol and company just crap out a new car just to bring out the first version of it at Barrett Jackson and auction it off for 100x what it's worth.

I like the aggressive looks, but $64K for 500 HP?

Wow...way to go team Shelby! Seriously, I think the whole thing is beautiful. Whenever I see the rear end of a new 'Stang I throw up in my mouth a little. But for whatever reason, this one works for me. I love it. Tomorrow, I'll quit my job and put in my application with those guys in downtown Dayton with the big rims. Should be able to buy one by the end of the summer, I'm hoping. Anybody need a dealer?

These being '45th Anniversary' are aimed at collectors (not being offered through Ford Motor Company makes them even more exclusive) who will pay the asking price. Then stash them away and never drive them in hopes of big future returns after Carroll croaks. After he dies, you won't be able to touch anything Shelby without having a lottery winning sized bank account.

Yeah, it doesn't fit. About as pretty as my facial expression when the urologist has his finger up my ass. At least I hope it is finger.

I talked to a guy who owned one of those Shelby GT's and he says (sounds like BS) that he talked directly to Carrol on the phone who told him that the GT500 won't be worth much compared to the Shelby GT because the GT500 actually has very little to do with Shelby aside from the name. He said the GT on the other hand is a Mustang that goes to the Shelby shop and gets modified by them and therefore has more "Shelby" to it than just the emblems on it. The part about talking directly to Carrol was the BS sounding part....the rest, who knows. I think in the long run the cars that are worth the most are the ones people remember as being the most badass and the ones with the most obscure options.

This car, i bet will be worth big money. First because it's a 45th, second because of the 5.0, third because of it being a Shelby installed option and not a "Ford dealership" car.
