I'm trying to organize my magazine collection and i'm looking for a heavy duty book shelf. The walmart/ikea crap made of particle board is too flimsy and will bow until it gives out. I need a WOOD book shelf.

Make it out of 2x8's with 1/4" plywood backing, it'll last forever and kids won't hurt it if they climb on it. Dad built a wall of shelfs this way.....

my buddy has one in his garage i think they are throwing it away its about 6 or 7 feet high solid wood. 3 feet wide
