i have never been in this position but why do those guys that slap the wall with the quarter around the 60 ft mark then let the car roll all the way across the track and hit the other wall with the nose

I think the one at :47 seconds was one of the hardest hits, then the white one at the end was right there with it.

I've noticed two common traits about most, but not all drivers in this video.

A: When the drivers chop the throttle to bring a wheelie down, they don't briefley reapply the throttle (about 1/3 throttle) to slow the rate of descent, the front end slams down and is overwhelmed by the excess force and components break.

B: Very few of the drivers countersteer when their cars get out of shape. Most of them lock the brakes and wait to see what happens. Even with skinnies, it's a good idea to point the front wheels in a direction other than the retaining wall.

Man i hate watching stuff like that. It's one thing to wonder if someone got hurt, but i really hate seeing someone's ride get destroyed like that. Still it's sick how you can't stop watching isn't it?

WOW, those guys that get in the air really high and just keep on going have a way bigger set than me. But, then again, I have always had a Front Wheel Grand Prix......:rolleyes:

At what point do you say "I think I need to put the brakes on" Some of them looked like they did not use much brake at all.
