Im sorry for all the qustions I wanted to hear some of your motor combos with trick flow heads.

What is the best way to notch pistons?

I have a stock bottom end 302 stock pistons with comp cams 292h. trick flow twisted wedge heads. elderbrock victo jr intake, holly 750 carb and 200 shot.

Anyone have any real proof if a cam this size will cause problems?

I have 4:10 5 speed car. I dont and have not drove the car anywhere in 2 years Haha Will just be a weekend car.

Well I can tell you this much. If I am correct that cam has .518 lift both intake and exhaust and 248 duration at .050. I beleive you are going to have P-V issues using that cam if you dont notch your pistons. I dont know much on the carburetor cars but 110 lobe seperation absolutely sucks on the street with an efi car. Just very little vacuum and it makes the streetabilty suck. But I know there's plenty of carb guys on this site that can chime in and tell you better than I can.

Should be no trouble to sell a cam, especially on here or craigslist if it's priced right

Well I would give it a little longer and wait to see if anyone else chimes in like this evening after work. The easiest way is just clay up your pistons and drop a solid lifter in and roll the motor over. But make sure you do both intake and exhaust. Intake at least .080 of clearance and at least .100 on the exhaust.

Pretty sure that cam is a flat tappet and has a lot of duration so you will probably have P-V issues....and like Steve said streetabilty wont be the good....here is the knotching tool http://www.iskycams.com/pdfcatalog/2004-05/page17.pdf

I wont be driving car on road. The heads are 48cc chamber. 170cc runners. I will look into having pistons notched. or changing out my cam.

i wouldnt recommend the isky tool, they flatout suck and take forever .
lindy tool company is cheaper and 10 times the cutter.
only takes minutes to do a piston and can be used with a electric drill.
