Remember this, a QB is only as good as his O-line, WRs and OC make him... which one of those three groups do you think make Palmer's job easier.

Now, if you put Palmer on the Jets side of the ball tonight I think he gets 300+ with 3 TDs. How many times did we sack Sanchez? How many time did we flush him out of the pocket? How many times did we knock him down? How many times did we touch him? How many times did we even get past their line??? Now ask the same thing about their pressure on Palmer.

If you don't trust you line then you have to throw quickly and hope your WRs grab the ball, and this WR corp is no longer elite, they aren't even average. Now you can make for average WRs and a poor O-line with an OC who can call plays to a pass catching TE, we on the other hand have no TE and an OC with a very vanilla playbook.

Oh well, Palmer is not without blame in this game and he will take it all on his shoulders, I can promise you that. Will Brat take his share? Will the O-line? Cook had an average game at best, he missed one block that resulted in a killer sack, he had a stupid penalty that cost them an 18 yard game... will he take his share of criticism?

Chad ran two wrong routes that cost them big yards, and it was obvious that Revis was a big part of that. Coles fumbled the ball in a position that would have completely changed the game, but it is all Palmer because he is in on every play.

He looked bad, but if Sanchez was on the Bengals this season we would have won maybe 4 or 5 games, we have a lot of offensive holes.

Blame who you will, but if we are calling for Palmer's head I am calling for the O-line, WR, OC and non existent TEs heads as well.

Not just Carson. Chad got a good one early on but on the series that led up to the second elementary field goal missed by graham, he had both hands and feet in bounds with the ball in the end zone only to drop it when he came down out of bounds, the ground knocked it out but that's easily preventable, we've seen him and a thousand other receivers make that catch over and over and maintain possession.

Not a bad season but they still have a lot of shit to work on. Teams with less recognizable players have won bigger games, whatever it is they need to rally them is missing. I wonder about Palmers leadership qualities.

i would have to disagree he was on the move a lot he couldnt set himself in the pocket and thats why he could not plant the front foot and follow through = high throws. and they did sack him 3 or 4 times so i dont think they were doing there job. but that is neither here nor there as the d folded on the possession after benson broke the big run. a ton of dropped passes chad dropping the TD and good old shank Graham so it was just not palmer they lost as a team.
