Who around here installs tops cheap or are the pretty easy to put on yourself? Also where to buy a rear driver lower patch panel? Just picked up this vert for my girl gonna be driving this summer and goto get to work on it lol....got her for $500 bones, needs some elbow grease and painted and shes good!

runs, stops and drives, needs a patch panel in the back, interior is nice...no top tho tops are cheap but Id like someone to put it on that knows what there doing or find out how simple it is

Not for sure but I hear the fox top is a complete pain to put on. I hope I am wrong, its been a little while since I had to mess with a top on one. Great find.

convertible tops are a pain in the ass to put on dont do it yourself pay to get it done i need to find somebody to do a convertible top for me

I'm so funny. Anyway I just did that. There is a place in eastgate and I know I'm spelling this wrong but it's dewese. I'm sure someone here knows him. He was by far the best price and nobody on the board complains about him. I ended up buying one off a wrecked fox. Then you can just move it over frame and all.

I work with a guy who is related to him. He does awesome work for a resonable price.

I've done two.. one on a 87 and one on an older VW.. they are not too hard. You need to take your time and have a warm space to work in. The top ideally should be stretched out in the sun or under hot lights in the last step. Lots of good links online. The 87 took me about a week to get right. If you have the old one still one take lots of pics as you take it apart.
