ohio state has NO offense, uc has NO defense ~ that would make for an interesting match up ...

im not going to blame the defense for blowing that game, when your offense cant stay on the field and make some 1st downs ~ it wears your defense out ... ball control is what lost the game ...

those sec teams are always built around speed, thats why they have the best conference every year ...

LOL...Yep...the 'slow, fat Big Ten' teams won 3 bowl games against 'speed' teams. Wisconsin beat Miami, Penn State beat an 'all mighty SEC' (puke) team, and OSU beat a 'wide open west coast juggernaut' :lol:. Not to mention Auburn BARELY beating Northwestern on overtime. :lol:

Now they lost everyone is bashing them.. I have been a OSU fan for a long time over the past couple years I have been watching and enjoying more UC football. Watch and see the more real teams that program plays the better they will get.

Be proud of your bearcats ... 12-1 is a great season ... big east champs! ... the 2nd best bcs bowl game ... what more could you want from a team that couldnt draw 1200 fans just 5 years ago ...

I was really hoping to see them fare a little better against Florida and that it would be a close game. Florida stepped it up big time though. It will be interesting to see if Florida can keep their program at or near the top of the SEC next year after the seniors graduate, the NFL raids the junior class, and they loose Urban Meyers for a undetermined period of time.

they were 1 second away from playing them, whether anyone thought they deserved it or not ...

LSU and florida smacked ohio state around pretty bad in championship games, doesnt mean ohio state didnt deserve to be there ... doesnt mean UC sucks, they just got out played that day ...

anyway, it was a great season and i would take 10 more 12-1 seasons like that in a heartbeat ... so would 200 other schools ...

Its just part of the dumb deal called the BCS. As long as it is in place there will be bad match ups and blow outs like the one UC just had happen to them. They need to put college football into a championship bracket much like that of NCAA basket ball. That would make everyone play to win that championship and then you can say you truly won the national championship.

I agree. Let the top 16 teams duke it out. They could go straight in to the play-offs at the end of the regular season and still finish up on or around New Years Day.
