What is the deal with fedex? EVERY SINGLE TIME I have something delivered by them, they fuck it up. This time I ordered a couple of things for my wife as a gift. I get home yesterday and the tracking number says it was delivered. Uhhhhhh, no. Nothing at my door, or any door on the entire street.

So I call today and they tell me that the driver accidentally delivered it to the wrong house. WTF? There is no other street with my street name in the county, and there are only 4 houses on the whole street. They say it will be re-delivered today.

So today my wife sits here for the ENTIRE day waiting, and they never show up. I called them after dinner, and the asshat tells me the driver tried delivering it at 3:06PM today, but nobody was home.

Again..... Uhhhhhh, no.

1: She was here the entire time. Seriously, ALL DAY.
2: There was no signature required, so he could have just left it.
3: There was no tag on the door saying he tried, and just missed us.

So basically the fucking assbags at fedex just lied to me AGAIN, and think it's no big deal. It IS a big deal. It's your FUCKING JOB to get me my FUCKING packages you ignorant cocksuckers! Do the job that we all pay you to do, and THEN go home.

Stupid fucks.

Chit...try paying for a two day package and finally getting it on day three, near the close of business, after it's supposed to be there by 1030am on day two. And yes their customer service sucks a big fat penis.

After that fiasco, if I am buying from company that is shipping FedEx, I do not buy from them in the end. United Package Smashers may damage shit and deny it, but at least it gets here when it's supposed to, on time.

UPS and FedEx both suck. I try to use the USPS as much as possible since it's the most convenient and I already know it's full a screw-ups.

Paul, if you are the only delivery in that area, the drivers will make excuses like this so they don't have to go far out of their way to make just one stop. The contract drivers don't get paid for crap. The might get $1 per stop, or less.

Lucky for me, the UPS/FedEx/USPS drivers in my area are all regulars and I have no issues.

Use USPS whenever possible. Fedex uses contractors frequently and your experience is not atypical.

maybe it has something to do with their tracking system being fucked up. I bought some parts from cjs and when i checked the tracking number it said it was delivered in august. I called cjs to see if they knew what was going on and they told me that fedex was having problems with their tracking numbers:rolleyes:

Parent's had a problem with that.

Seemed every GPS system and map, but FedEx's, could locate the house.

We had to list special delivery instructions every time we used them. HUGE PITA.

USPS FTMFW! They may hate delivering 60lbs of .40 brass, but it'll get there.

FedEx leases their routes to non FedEx employees, and they really could care less if you get your shit on time or not. Don't get me started on how FedEx is operating under a preferential loophole. Just google 'railway airline labor act fedex'.

I'm sitting on the couch watching football, just waiting for the guy to show up. F-ing jerk.

I was waiting on a clients server to show up at the house. Client was in a hurry. It was one of those deals where they had me on hold forever and then said, "Okay, let's install that new server. Can you have it here yesterday?" Anyway, it WAS signature required, as those things are not exactly cheap. I waited all day. I even put a note on the door that I definitely home and not to leave without delivering the package.

Well, at 7:00pm I'm on the phone to Fed/Ex bitching them out because it was a guaranteed delivery and their delay was costing me money. By the time I'm off the phone, I'm fed up, hungry, cooped up in the house all day waiting for a package that didn't show up. So, I decide to go grab a bite to eat with a friend.

Open the front door, there sits the package. Never knocked. Never rang the door bell. Never got a signature. And most interestingly, when I called Fed/Ex they never said, "Well, we showed it was delivered at...." It was freezing cold and had snow on the box, must have been there for like 4 hours sitting on my front steps.

I almost wish I'd have been dishonest enough to swear I never got the package, since they never got my signature.

The guy finally showed up at about 3 today. Put it inside the storm door, banged on the window, and pretty much ran back to the truck and got the hell out of there before I could confront him.

Fed ex does suck I went though the same crap waiting all day for a signature required package that never came. I checked the web site and it said that no one was home to sign for the package. I called them up and the said they have no way to contact their drivers....... Every 5 year old in the world has a cell phone and I can call them but they can't contact their drivers. They SUCK.

I call bullshit on they have no way to contact their drivers. I have a friend that works as a driver for them assclowns and the office can contact the driver if they see fit to do so. My boss actually had a fedex route that one of our employee's use to do on the side. I know first hand that if you live in east boo foo and their isn't any other stops out that way. You can chaulk it up on getting your package on time. I hate Jegs for this very reason. Because they use Fedex and they swear by them. I have had 4 orders from Jegs that never came on time. I can drive their in an hour and fifthteen minutes and that's what I do now if I am really hard pressed to get my part. But all four times a package was late it was like 3-4 days late.

Haven't ordered from Jegs in some time, thanks to Cracker at local Speed Shop.......but if you stop in and they don't have it at that location, pay there and you get free shipping!

Since I have a buddy 2 exits past the 11th Ave. location, I abuse this if needed.

Would be nice if they had a "will call" at the main Delaware warehouse since I'm up there often, I have a customer/friend in the area.......something national champion 2 year in a row something............

ARRC?

ha ha. sorry I meant USPS. They have always done right by me.

NOT me, the Tail lenses I got from somone here were TOTALLY FUCKING DESTORYED. The were packed well in a heavy gauge floor jack cardboard box. And the box looked as if it fell out of a 747 at 30000 feet. The driver didn't even bring it up to the door, he left it in a car, cause he knew I'd go off like an artillery shell. And after 2weeks of screwing with the postal service I found that only they(imagine that, owned by our gov.)have laws to covering them in case they fuck it up. I took the lenses out back poured some gas on em and lit the basterds just to watch them burn, ya I was pretty damn Pissed. And still am. BY the way EVERYTHING is covered by UPS up to $100.

I guess I'll stick up for fed-ex here.

We use them for work for both parcel and freight. It is true that the ground service is provided by contractors however in the 3 years my company has used them we have only had one issue and that was in regards to an overnight order with a saturday delivery. Our rep is excellent and we negotitated a great price (65%discount). I use them above all carriers for price and reliability, and no I do not make money off my shipping charges I only save me or my customer base money.

Using UPS we did recieve packages that were damaged (try eating an $1,100 HMI screen) but I just thought that was par for course. We have not had one damaged package using Fed-Ex, though our drivers are not as enticing as the one displayed above.

I should also add most of my shipping is business to business.

Hopefully your shipping futures are better than your pasts'.

We over here at our Volvo location use Fedex. We ship and recieve Fedex from our distibution center every day. Most of it is overnight deliveries.Ive had one lost to a company down the street from me,but I called them and they had a guy over there to pick it up from there and brought it here within a two hour time period.
