Ok this is what I am starting with. The car is getting painted so I figured I would go deeper into it. I decided to smooth out my firewall and fenderwells while I am doing a repaint. Also decided to smooth my intake, get rid of the Edelbrock Victor Jr. name on it and smooth out the casting before I powder coat it. Here are some pics of the car before paint and the intake as I smoothed it out.

The guy who painted the car did not have good attention to detail. Plus I am changing the color. Looking to go with Black Cherry Pearl with maybe some ghost flames.

302 with a baby cam. Twisted Wedge heads (secret recipe), Victor Jr intake, CSU blow through carb, MP70mm Turbo, C4, 3.08 rear gear. Hotchkis lowers with Comp Engineering adjustable uppers. Other than that it is pretty basic stuff. Nice fun street car.

Well I think I had a change in plans for the paint. I am pretty sure I am going to go with the Lazer Red that was on my 01' in the picture below with some ghost flames. Of course who knows by the time it gets painted I may change my mind again...:lol:

Some progress has been made. The intake and thermostat housing are back from powdercoat. New wheels are in, I just need to get tires mounted and fender lips rolled. Panels are welded in the engine compartment, holes all welding up, and I started grinding and smoothing welds ( pics to come ). Oh I forgot the intake is being port matched to my 185cc heads.

Runs very well! I love the simplicity of the blow thru set up. Actually switching the turbo to a Turbonetics unit soon. This is just a fun street car so no track times as of yet. I do not want to put a bar or cage in this car so it is limited.

Nope. When I changed the rear bumper cover from the 85-86 to the 87-93 so the moldings matched the Steeda rear valance did not fit correctly. So I deleted the side skirts and the rear valance.
