I dont really have a good name so here is "Project street sweeper"

I have a 2004 Gt 5spd i bought about 3 or 4 months ago with 30k on it from there my bank account has went down hill.:lol:

Main goal for the car as of now is just a surprising and fun street car that that looks like a stock V6 maybe i can do some UMTR in on the weekends.

Exterior mods list is:
8 inch shorty antenia
had windows tinted when i bought it
V6 bumper on the back(no cut outs for the exhaust cause it is dumped)

Interior:
Hurst t handle shifter handle
summit short throw shifter
little red toggle switch(i call it the can openner)

And last but not least Drivetrain mods:
CAI
75mm t-body
RPM upper intake
3:73 gears out back
BBK shorty headers
pypes o/r x pipe(just ordered today)
2 chambers dumped before the rear end
Zex wet kit(only have the 100 shot on it right now)

Parts on the tax return list:
focus fuel pump
bottle heater
purge kit
trick flow track heat intake
trick flow stage one cams
and most important a tune by MD cause it has not been touched yet!!!

Without the exhaust or the bottle the car went 13.97 at 99mph, hoping to get some mid to low 12's next year.

i had 00 gt w all the same bolt ons except the zex kit, and headers, and intake even the bumper lol but i had eibach sportlines, superchips chip and nitto dr's 245/45/17's. i went a best of 13.29 @ 103 w a 1.844 60' the car actually went faster w/o the t.b. and the headlight out

Well on the tires i dont really wanna run anything real sticky cause i havent had a chance to put axles or anything in it yet but ill get there with time. I plan on running a m/t drag radial that will fit my stock rims. And i will also be investing in a window switch too.:bigthumb

Well i got the n2o race kit installed this weekend, along with the focus pump, and finally fixed the exhaust. Still gotta wire up the window switch, wire up the shift light, and throw the spark plugs in it. Then off to MD for a tune. Also got a set of fats and skinnys for it with 26/11.5/15 hoosier quick times pros out back and moser axles. And after the tune i got some torque box reinforcements that need to put in and frame ties. After all of that its time for some UMTR this year.:bigthumb

New personal bests today at the track. 13.23@101 on the motor and 12.06@113 on the spray. Might have some video of the n2o run if my buddy gets it to me. Next step is gonna be some suspension work. Gonna have the frame tied real soon(should have done before the slicks and spray), torque boxes done up right, and some adjustable upper and lowers.

Lol yeah that is all you will pull at tristate, that track will justnot hold a tire. Even with my little 256hp (on motor) i was still spinning the slicks with 12psi.

Well after a 1.622 60' on my bone stock suspension, i think it is time for some adjustable parts so i can tune it in a little better. So after i close on my house in a couple weeks thats what will have to happen.
