I need a new selector switch for the heat and A/C. The stalk on mine where the knob attachs is rounding off for some reason. Trying to find a part number to look up the switch. Its the one that controls the vents, floor and defoster.

Stopped at a parts store they want 40. Ford dealership wants 33 and if I have the right part number I can get it for 15. Money is tight right now so the cheaper I can get it the more it will help me out.

Its a 3.0 v6 with manual A/C

buy some vise grips or a junk yard would be cheapest.

vice grips and a flat head screw driver. I rolled like that for years in my old toyota. lol
The flat head worked to change heat settings and start the car.

Use the old knob and some epoxy!

Thanks for the ideas but I would really like to source a part number for the switch. I don't see the logic in a parts store charging 40 for a switch that the dealer has for 33. For that same said switch the dealer has I can get online for 15.
