im looking for some info on putting a stick behind a 460. im aiming for an engine about 400 450 hp. it going to be a street driven car. any help would be great. just trying to figure out if ill be going auto or stick. its also going in a 90 hatch.

As far as I know... Lakewood makes a scatterproof bell, Also there is a billet flywheel out there somewhere, a TKO600 might be what you need as far as a trans. Should be able to get a stock style performance clutch for a truck, and I think even the mustang cable will work
I HIGHLY recommend the 1.5" K-member spacers sold over at bigblockfox.com, I think they are made by Fordified racing... That should keep you from having to beat your trans tunnel in.
All I need is a trans set up and headers and I'll be throwing a 460 in an '85 coupe myself
Make sure your crank has the hole for a pilot bearing, I think some of the older engines didnt have that cut out.

im for sure using the k member spacers. im also going with a tubular k member. i was figuring the tko 600 but i heard they are rather expensive.

yes the tko 600 is expensive but one of the best trans out there but heard they are hard to speed shift might want to looking into a gforce transmission i have always wanted to build a bbf and a 5 speed car thought it would be fun
