Question For Computer Guys

I got this new pilot related communications software...

I threw it in my computer, I believe I did the proper setup to where the icon apears in the start up menu. I click on it to run & a message comes up "this program needs at least 3mb of free virtual memory to run" ???

Anyone know whats up or something I can do to get going. My computer in general has tons of free space etc.. but don't know where to go from here
