This goes to show every one that no matter if you use the best or the cheapest parts, they can all break when your least expecting it. so when buying after market parts, all you can do is cross your fingers and hope. :)

I'd love to hear from Manley what kind of pressure it takes to do that to one of their rods. I bet its astronomical.

Man that is a Nobel prize winner there. Hang that one on the Christmas tree. Dittos on letting us know if Manley gives you a force specification on what it took to do that.

Manley said they have boost applications 25-30psi over 1200 HP before rods fail like that..
I asked for a pressure rating and they couldnt give me one....

So what kind of power on your setup were you making when this connecting rod decided to develope the radius in it? I still can't get over that.

It happened on startup...hydrolock from faulty injector
