I'm very excited for UC and cant wait until the game.......I think we have a chance to beat the gators.
I just want to see Tim Tebow cry some more.

I think we have a great chance too... I was more afraid of Ingram and Bama... Florida's scoring offense hasn't been much since they lost Percy Harvin last year to the NFL.. Florida hasn't blown out many teams this year and have had a few close games. This will definitely show if we can compete with one of the best!!

That is because FL plays in a real football teams in the SEC and there is no huge blowouts. Tebow will want to go out big and his team will rise to that occasion and UC is about to get embarrassed big time. It will be a blood bath:popcorn:

Hopefully they give tebow a reason to cry.

I would love to see UC beat Florida....but I'm a realist. UC's defense has had trouble all year stoping the run...especially up the middle. This plays right into florida and tebow's strenghts. I think UC's offense can score some points against florida....especially if they open up the passing game....but unless the defense finds something...I don't see them being able to keep it close. I was really hoping UC would get to play TCU/Boise St. in a bowl game.

I think we can hold Demps down.. Were a fast defense and havent really had problems with spped backs.. Tebow might get some yards up the middle though.. Its gonna be a tough one but i don't see us getting blown out with the way we score

Unfortunately, I think you are right. The Cincy defense just can't hold against Florida. :(

Think I heard right that Urban Myer is a UC alum and played for UC.

He played for Cincinnati, and was a coach at St. Xavier high school. He also was an assistant at Ohio State, and was the head coach for Bowling Green.

Well, if florida's special teams plays like Pittsburgh's did Saturday then they might have a chance. Take away the multiple big plays Gilyard had on punt and kick returns and they lose. Chances are Florida will bring a better special teams game not to mention one of the best defenses in the country against a team that is primarily an offensive attack. Even worse, the gators have a few good weapons on offense, tebow is accurate and poised in the big games(alabama was a far superior team but he didn't do terribly bad considering the beat down they took) and rarely throws interceptions while Pike has shown in big games he is a little shaky, 4 picks in last year's orange bowl and 3 against Pitt saturday. Hopefully he learns from that.
Best thing going for UC...Florida just lost their biggest game of the year, that lingers and will still leave a sour taste in their mouths going onto the field against UC. Remember Utah beat the shit out of Alabama last year after the same thing happened to them. Teams like Florida who set the standard of "bcs bowl or bust" are let down if they don't get in but I'm sure UC is pumped to be in the sugar bowl against the gators.

I just read that Kelly is meeting with Notre Dame, and he wouldnt guarentee that he would coach cincy at the Sugar bowl.

So, if he goes, he goes. Good luck to him. (The last three, didn't fair so well)
Everyone seems to forget, that he came to UC, as they were getting ready to play a bowl game. The team knows what is needed to win and I'm sure they would love to put the hurtin, on Tebow.
But, as always, if the 'Cats lose, it will all be Kelly's fault.

If he takes the job at Notre Dame then UC will not allow him to coach the sugar bowl I'll bet.

Probably not, he'll be jumping right into recruiting. then again, I'm not so sure about not allowing him, I mean, you'd think ND would want him to coach that game and win. See how he does in a big game like that...against a tough SEC team.
