Slot cars the little 1/64 scale cars? well now they are racing 1/32 and 1/24. i had a lay out 2 years ago but got rid of it now gunnar is asking santa for another track. it is FUN! the cars are awesome you can change motors gears tires and the details are crazy full interiors working lights. there is a place down on wards corner that has races and huge tracks its called fast lane. they have drag racing slots too here is a video.

that looks awesome but im going to stay far away from them. i can see my self getting pissed and throwing the car lol, i have the old NaSCAR one thats not a slot car but kinda like it, it was SWEETTTT
I have a few of these cars. They are pretty cool and you can slide them around turns. Hobby town sells tracks and cars. Pretty pricy though. I also have a ton of tcr stuff. Those are slotless cars that can freely change lanes with a switch on the controller. I really need to grow up...

TCR total control racing lol sean do you race? i used to have mine set up in my garage it was HUGE. it had a 29 foot straight away down the back wall they would fly. i had catch fences in the curve at the end of the straight away and a huge cork screw in the center it was a blast think santa is going to bring him one this year as he has been asking everyday.
Man I have a ton of track and a few older cars. I just got a tyco tcr track and those cars are amazing.

you wanna get rid of any of the stuff?
Not really. I am limited on the scx stuff and the slotless is too hard to find anymore. When I move I want to set up a drag strip for the 1:32 cars.

have you been down to fast lanes? he has got a drag track down there.
Havent seen his but have seen a few. Pretty easy to put one up and not real pricy either. The cars are freaking expensive. 50 dollars and up.

I have a huge set up in my basement with about 70' of track and about 30+ 1:32 cars. I went crazy with it a couple of years ago for me and boy. It is something fun to when it is cold out.
Fast Lane will always do the 10% off , but Bruce at cincy slots is still better on price.

I know it's not the same thing but i've got one of the old rc tracks but this one is a little different it's a Tyco one but it's from the 60's and you know how typically you'd have the pistol grip with a trigger for a controller well this one is a hurst 4 speed shifter, you actually shift the gears and it increases the power for each gear it's pretty neat.....

Record breakers. I use to have quite a few of them. You could swap motors, tires, bodies. They even had a adapter to add a 3rd or 4th AA battery to make it faster.
Is that the car your thinking of?

I have a lot of slot car stuff around the house. Even modified a power track so that each lane had its own power pack. I still have a few old one without the traction magnets but they are pretty beat up. My son use to like to play with them and have the cat chase them as well.

Thats the set I started off with back in the 70's It had a Ferrari and Porche with head lights in the kit. Still have the shifters.
