View Full Version : I finally bought a dog!!!!!

I have been looking for the right breed of dog for quite some time now. Over the past year I have looked at Dobermans, Boxer's and American Bulldogs and could never make up my mind. I have always wanted an English Bulldog but would never be able to afford one due to there constant health problems. Low and behold the right breed of dog for me was right under my nose. My brother in law's dad had recently breed his Old English Bulldog and I was able to buy one of the pups. I wasn't very familiar with the breed but after seeing his dog and the mother I was very impressed. Super sweet nature with a tuff look and best of all very little health problems. The pups were born last Monday and they got the tales docked Saturday. So tonight my and son and I went and checked my little male out tonight and he is a monster (largest one in the litter). They should be ready at Christmas needless to say I cant wait. We have given him a name, Ace. Here's a link for those who are not familiar with the breed.:)

Dogs are a great, I have always had one growing up and for the first time ever I have 2. They are great friends and do everything together including sleep with their heads on eachother. congrats on the dog.

Congrats. Sadly, I just had our 17 1/2 year old Schipperke put down. He lasted longer than my first marriage. :-(

Congrats and welcome to the bully family!!! They are great... We have a 7 month boxer, our second...he's awesome...good luck with the pup and potty training!!!
