Looking to buy a running 4cyl fox body coupe, Would like the car to be a 5spd and have black interior.. Not a big deal if its not a 5spd but would like it to be.. I want a solid car not interested in a bondo buggy , Looking to buy the car drive it until funds are good to do a v8 swap.. I really would like to find one close to the area but would travel for the right car.. No rust cars accepted.. Would like to find a solid car that has been taken care of..:bigthumb Not in a big hurry will wait for the right car..

I have owned about a dozen mustangs , all fox bodies , Only owned one coupe and would like to get another one..

:bigthumb
:thanks:

I have a buddy that has one, he already removed the transmission and engine and built the 4cyl up, then lost interest and the car is sitting engineless with the transmission in the back. He said he wants $1500 for it which is a bit high, however it is a low mileage car with a ver nice body. We put an FRPP 180lph pump in it right before he removed the engine for a buildup.

I've had this discussion with him, not happening. It will rust another decade or so and get crushed. Don't take me wrong I think he'd be better off to send it to a good home, but it isn't mine.

The car is that gray/light blue color that was so common on those, it is a 91. The interior is gray I think. It is an auto. I would suggest coming to see it. The car would be good to fix or replace a 5.0 car with. Next time I see him I will get him to get a vin so you can do a car fax on it. I know he is hurting for money right now so I bet you could talk him down a ways. I think the car itself only has about 80-90 thousand miles on it and the interior looks better than the exterior, which is in good shape.
