My nephew is on his way back to Northern Michigan from Florida with a car his Dad just bought him, And SUPPOSEDLY had all checked out !!! He had a hole blow in the Radiator last night and had to have it replaced, and is now BROKE DOWN on 75 about 40 miles South of Cincy ... He says the Temp gauge showed HOT so he pulled over and is letting it cool ... If anyone is willing to give a hand give me a call at (937)206-2489, and I can give you more details ... I'm 120 miles north of Cincy, And was looking for some Southern Help before I headed down ... He is only 18 and KNOWS NOTHING about cars !!!!

Any Help Appreciated !!!

Thanks, Aaron

Hey Aaron, I can't go tonight, but take some tools and a thermostat / rtv, just in case. It could be something as simple as that. You're going to need plenty of light too!

Hey Guys !!! Great to put a name with a face, Hope I'm not the ASS in person everyone on here thinks I am !!!

But ... I can't begin to express how Grateful I am to Chris and Zach !!! :bigthumb
You and your buddies went WAY beyond stopping by and helping out, From putting my nephew at ease, To running to get parts, The keeping me informed as to what was going on, And to have called a parts store 2 exits from where I was to pick up a part that you guys had them holding for me, To the staying on the side of 75 until 11:00 at night, And then to top it off Following us to the next exit to make sure the Car was secured !!! :bigthumb :bigthumb
Again If there is ANYTHING I can ever do to help, DO NOT Hesitate to call me !!!

Once again STANGBANGERZ pulls through for somone that needs a hand !!!

Thanks, Aaron !!!

Glad to hear you guys got it fixed up. What was the problem?

Oh it's not fixed ... After they found a blown crossover hose ang got it replaced, They realized the dizzy cap was messed up ... So when we put they put the new one on, It wouldn't fire, so instead of trying on the side of 75 at 11:00, we loaded it on the dolly, and I brought it home ( with my nephew of course LOL )
I figure it will be easier to fix and check out here at my house ...

Thanks Again Guys !!!

Hey Aaron, if it just needs head gaskets, I believe I still have a set of factory replacement gaskets he can have to get his car back on the road. Just let me know.

That thing smelled hot hours after it was cool. I was sure hoping it was just problem with the cap and buttom tho, after we replaced it.
