Situation. I've battled myself daily for close to two years trying to decide on a color for my coupe build. I can't decide between black or an orange of some sort. The guy painting my car wants to use the orange metallic from a 2010 Camaro.
What color would you paint it?

The darker the orange (toward burnt) the better IMO.

go orange, maybe some type of black graphics
I looked at one that was sunlit copper. The nissan burnt orange and it was beautiful. The owner is on here his name is chris. Ill see if I can find his screen name. Best color on a coupe i have ever seen. They use the color on the murano and 350z.
send a pm to cbpldc, Thats his name on here. Super nice guy with the orange coupe. It looks GREAT

My father in laws girlfriend just picked up a 09 Malibu in the Black Granite Metallic and it looks badass. Looks black until you really start looking at it then you see all the metallic in it then it looks dark gray. I think orange has been done a few too many times.

If you wanted to do it for a fair price... then black is the way to go. Otherwise the orange from the new camaro i'm sure won't be cheap since its a "new" color
I also wouldnt do just 1 color... I'd break it up with something... stripes, flames, something, then make the other half of the car another color.
just my 2 cents

I think I would vote for some kind of black/orange combo.

Nothing looks more sinister than an all blacked out coupe. Dark tint the windows, head lights, tails, trim, etc etc etc, then have Kenny powder coat everything under the hood in that ultra cool black chrome color. Just my opinion.

black, they say once you go black you never go back lol
Black does look good right after you wash it.... for about an hour, then you need to wash it again.

I struggled with the same question for a long long time. Whatever you do, pick the color off of a car, that you can see in different lighting. Pictures wont cut it. It's a big commitment, so make sure you take your time.

The price difference is a major deal.black base would prob be around 250 or so and the orange is more like 5 or six hundred for good products. capristang works at koi paint store in mount carmel. he might be able to help you with your decision.

Depends on what brand. I have priced black base coat for around $100 gallon and have sprayed orange pearls at over $1000. It was House Of Kolor.
Lots of oem colors that would look great on it so you could do something that you dont see everyday. And yes orange is everywhere

If I could go back, I would paint my car the color of Beefcakes old Cobra. It was that grey that almost looked black. That was really sweet looking!
