I have a brand new Autronic SM2 for sale. I removed it from the box, but its never been wired up or powered up. The harness has never been hooked up, but it does have some taped on labels from when I was going to wire it up. This is one of the most capable standalone computers you can buy. The guy who created them (Ray Hall) left Motec to start up Autronic because he had some better ideas than what Motec was doing in their ECUs.

Its complete with the SM2 computer, instruction booklet, complete wiring harness, fuel pump relay, air temperature sensor, coolant temp sensor, and cable to hook to a laptop, everything you see in the pic.

Some features, but see the links below for full details:
-Sequential operation for 2 to 8 cylinder engines
-Eight injector ouputs
-Four ignition ouputs (ignition expander available for up to 8 outputs)
-3D fuel and Ignition maps
-User defined up to 32 RPM and 16 Load sites = 512 sites
-Eight auxiliary outputs other than fuel pump control
-Auxiliary outputs can be defined for boost control, nitrous oxide, staged injectors, camshaft timing, AC, fan control, idle valve etc...
-Traction Control
-Flat Shift (ver 1.92 & 1.93)
-Launch Control (ver 1.93)
-Anti-Lag
-Data Logging
-AutoTune
-Compatible with Motec Dash

Here is some information on it:
www.lugnutstuning.com/sm2.shtml (third party site, but has a lot of info on it)
www.autronic.com.au (official site)

I paid a bit over $1800 for this. I'm asking $1200.

To use on a 'busa I don't think ti would require anything special, other than the normal installation on a car. Their contact number is listed on their website. www.autronic.com.au

I do not personally know anyone who has this on their car. Over the years I have known people who ran them. So I looked into it and it looked like one of the best standalones out there and bought it. Turns out the project I'm working on has taken a different direction, so its up for sale.

If you're looking for peopel to talk to, maybe call around to some of the speed shops around. Or get on that forum that I linked in my first post in the thread.
