I was not aware of it, but we have one more Friday tune and test before we go to Saturday tune and test. Therefore, if you want to do something this Friday, November 6th, and the weather holds out, we can make this happen.

We can do it if you want. Please respond so I know what to do and what to tell my bosses.

I'm planning on making it out this friday night.

Not sure if I'll participate in the SBZ's bracket race or not....I'll be there to work on testing my bigger nitrous tuneup....while trying to keep the wheelies to a minimum.

Wheelies are hard on parts. Stuff like headers and oil pans don't like em. But it does make for a good show!!!!

They are also hard on the butt cheeks and underware when your not running wheelie bars and not sure how high the car is going to go.

Sounds good guys. The weather is supposed to be good. Let's make a good showing. A lot of people besides me enjoy watching you guys race. Bring your friends also and make some noise. :D

I'll get with the owners tomorrow and let them know you are coming.

Can't wait!!

I think they are only have t&t on friday night this week since they have a big 2 day bracket race sat & sun at edgewater this weekend. Normally they switch to sat t&t the first weekend in Nov.

Might have to come out and meet up with some of you guys since its getting to be late in the year. I Can do a lot of watching and talking but no racing unless its my speed 6, and I'd rather not!

The reason I was asking is that they already closed down 1 friday this year because of low temps. The day they closed was within 5 to 6 degrees of what this friday is going to be, and it is now dark by 6:30 so it will be colder earlier.

The weather has been a real problem the last few weeks. Even our Saturday night races have been effected. However, as Jeff88coupe stated, we have a 2 day race (Saturday and Sunday), so it would almost have to be snowing before they would close this Friday. There will be several big cars there Friday night getting ready for the weekend. They pay big bucks to race so EW will not piss them off by closing on Friday.

Bottom line--- We are going to have a blast!!!!
If you do not want to race, bring your car anyway and show it off.

We are probably going to be very busy, so get there early.

Try and be there around 5pm. No later than 5:30 so that we have a little time to get organized, teched in, and a little time to show you around the starting line. I think you would like to know what happens on the starting line, and how the track should feel when we have some "sticky glue" down, and how the roll out works.

First cars down the track will be sometime between 5:30 and 6 depending on how quickly people get to the staging lanes

the sbz group will get to make our runs without cones correct?

with it being cool, that will be crucial

Street tires will kill the groove for slick cars and leave water.

you don't need to be in the groove beef...you have Avd:chicken:

not if they drive around

Good luck getting most people to not think they are John Force on street tires.

How will that work by the way?

A groupe of slick/DR cars and a group of street radial cars? Or mixed? I have a buddy who wants to run, but is unsure if he wants to run slicks... Where as I could run in either lane with DR's...

well, you can run in the mix i believe, but i think we get a few runs of our own time,

I'm confused, are we, or are we not doing a bracket race for fun? or is it just an exclusive test and tune event?
