So I cut my inner front fender aprons out last night because they were destroyed anyway... and I'll be doing a core support/cowl at the same time.

Anywho..

I am debating on whether to replace them with some rust free units from a junk car, or make sheetmetal homemade ones...

If I go the homemade route, who has done this? How did it turn out? How difficult was it? And could you provide pictures so I could see different ways of doing it?

Thanks a lot!

Is this it?

Not as cheap, as Pitbull said, but his prices are reasonable and it is great quality.

WOW! Thanks for finding that Jeff!!!

I unfortunately had to cut the tops of my inner fenders out as well... but If I had some that were trash on the bottom I'd pick up a set of those in a heartbeat! Exactly what I was looking for! :bigthumb

Those are just covers and do not add any support to the front of the car.I would find a donor car and use it.

I have a donor car in mind. Just have to put an entire front clip on another car so we can part out the car that has the good parts I need....

I guess when I cut out the stockers from another car I'll just leave it at that. No sense in puting something overtop of it. I'll just weld the holes shut.

But wow that site sure has some nice stuff... Makes me wanna do an all out race car just to have those nice looking panels

I have some pics from a set of steel pieces a guy makes. Let me see if I can find the information and a few pics once I get off work.
