it was for fun, I know I can and have beat him from a low roll and dig, but my 2nd synchro is going out, and I dont want to kill the trans. Those cars have a crazy top end when modded.

And then he'll get a wastegate and up the boost and walk your ass. You need to invest in some more go fast parts...full exhaust and tune might get you to keep up with stockish LS1s..

I've run 12.9 @106.6 in my Mach with stock drivetrain (stock gears, no tune, etc.), on DRs. (I do have a Borla catback, but stock h-pipe.) So if he got 4.30s, I'd hope he'd get into the 12s . . .

He sent me a video of him driving the car to a 12.0@111 in Kentucky wherever it is he lives. Why would I lie about that? lol. I beat said 300zx when I was on my stock cam... His name is Greg. He's from West Carrollton/Miamisburg area. And it's burgundy with chrome rims. And those were 50mph highway runs...And I may or may not have forgotten to tell him I had spray on it at that point in time.... :)

I've beaten that 300zxTT that 93mustang is referring to. His name is Greg, he's from WC/Miamisburg. It's burgundy with Chrome 18 or 19" wheels. Search youtube "blue canoe" and scroll down. It's a night time race and I pull him good multiple times from a 50 roll. From a dig woulda been a joke. He's got a fully built motor that's been built from the ground up. On low boost (or so he says) he makes high 400s whp which is what he ran me on. On high boost he claims 500-600+rwhp...however I've never witnessed him racing on "high" boost.
