Who here has the Blackberry storm with the new V5.0 software? How do you like it so far?

I have a storm. Don't know about the software. Had it for about 8 months. Love the phone though.

i just got the e-mail about the updated software this morning. I'll load it in sometime today and let you know in a day or 2.

I had it for a few months it's a great i didnt have any problems with it. The only reason i got rid of it was because i didnt really have a good use for the blackberry!!

ive got 5.0.0.230 on mine and LOVE it, the reboot time is FAR faster, and the memory it frreed up was amazing! been running it for about a month now.

No. It's a big download. Need a computer. Thinking about doing mine now. Read about some problems on some forums but not for everyone.

So been running it now for about 2 days. It's much faster, seems more stable then the other version. I upgraded after downloading the file and it did all it had to do with no issues. Even re-activated on our BB exchange server here without need of help.

Not sure if this means anything since u have a Storm, but I had a BB Tour for a couple weeks and it had the V5 software on it. It ran great! I liked the updated BB messenger.

I imagine everything is the same except its a touch screen whereas the Tour obviously isnt.

Its not too bad. The new word spell check thing is a little strange to get used to. It is definantly faster.
