I would say when my dad ran the Cobra, he was going to get him, he might have had a 2/3 car lenght on the Cobra just in third gear, and that is about what the Camaro pulled the Cobra by in the video.

No one really knows what it put down.. besides tony. What does it really matter, The car has trapped like between 115-119 on motor Its a very stout car. I say he wasnt sprayin. If he was sprayin it was just one kit.. The car has two kits on it, I think it put down 404 on the motor , Then thought i heard it put down 500 to the wheels i dunno if that was on motor or what.. it went 12.0's at 119 or 114 on the motor at KK ..

I figured thats all he had. My dads 02 Z28 has a few bolt ons with full exhaust and could out run my stock 04 Cobra. Most Z owners do the same mods. Intake, cam and exhaust.

I came across that Camaro on 675 about 6 weeks ago and ran him from a 45 roll thru 4th gear. He ran pretty good but I still pulled on him no problem.....and that was "granny shifting". I hear he likes to run guys and claim that he'll run N/A and then sneak in the "laughing gas".....a real straight shooter I guess. So dont feel so bad Ben....he had to run the juice to pull on you like that. If he was truly running N/A, the Cobra would have pulled on him no questions.

I just know that when someone walks on you while they're on the gas, then lets off to "granny shift" (giving you a chance to catch up) before banging into the next gear........that normally means you're losing:( No worries though, me and my "nondrivingass" dont have anything to prove by putting another hurting on your camaro's reputation....... especially since you have gone and called me out on another board, making such a big deal out of a comment that I made here on SBZ.

it would be really ugly. he sold the wet kit he had a long time ago to another buddy of ours. they arent hard to spot on those cars, just look in the trunk. i havent came across one yet that i couldnt spot.

tony's z28 weighs in between 3300-3400. 03/04 cobras are 3650. it should be a really close race. tony and i are a really close race but his is a little faster. if you wanna beat him, race hime from a dig when hes on street tires.

Honestly I had just picked up the car a couple of weeks before and was having some issues with the syncro rings on the T56. It was making it almost impossible to run through the gears (quite frustrating) without some severe hesitation. So rather than damage things further by missing shifts/grinding gears I just took it easy on the tranny until I fixed the issue, hence the reasoning for the "granny shifting". Trust me, if the car had been shifting correctly I would have ran him all out.....

Nope its not ported....just a pulley, throttle body, long tube headers, O/R exhaust, a tune, and thats about it. Just had it on the dyno down at MD a couple of weeks back.

I made 459+whp with just 2.8/Catback and FIPK with 11.5 A/F ratio with a 91tune. So I think 470whp is possible with those modifications. The driver in the LS1 must be pretty good. My buddy hits the traps 4-5 mph slower than me in his 402whp Cam/Exhaust/long tube, etc Ram Air 2001 Trans-am.
