Is there a difference between the after market K-member for the the fox body and the SN-95 body style? Basically does one fit all? I had someone ask me this question and I didnt know. Told them I would check on line too see if any members knew the answer.

As far as I know the k-members are the same but the a-arms for an sn95 are longer.

what he said^ Basically they are all the same from 79 to 04, but the motormounts are different for the 4.6's. 4cyl and 8 cyl fox body K's are the same as well. The lower control arms are different for the different bodies, they are different lengths.

Dont! Qa1 pushes the wheels out 1" and you have to grind the heads of the bolts down on one side. I had a QA1 in mine for a month got tired of the tire rub and called Jason@ PA:bigthumb

Yes the QA1 pushes the tires forward and you have to grind down the heads of some bolts. I haven't had any rubbing with mine but then again its not a fox either.

I have UPR's on most of my cars. I am going to try a PA sometime, but they are very overpriced imho. I get a chrome moly unit for 699 for everything. I guess I am a tight ass at heart. lol.

I guess I just had bad experiences with K members. I've never seen a QA1 fit right. I've fought a D&D peice for a couple days. The UPR one had to be replaced by the manufacturer b'cause it didn't fit, however both AJE K members I've installed fit perfect and came with all the right hardware. Just my opinion.

On your question, The rear bolt holes (at the frame) usually need to be opened up a bit to fit the newer K member on the older body.

I have a PA racing that I just put in my 88 4cyl conversion. Got it at cincy speed and it fit like a glove! No problems at all. I am using the stock a arms on mine right now until i can afford better ones.

I have a 91 Coupe also. QA1 instructions even tell you that you have to grind the head bolts down. Its no big deal, just a PITA if your grinder is loaned out to a bud.:(
Since you are running skinnies, you wont have any problem.:bigthumb

Not sure but leaning towards the UPR. Its chrome moly and decently priced. Getting ready to start on the mini tubs so the k-member will have to wait until I finish the engine compartment.

Don't get a QA-1, they are junk.
FOund out the hard way and had to

Went with PA racing also, no problems
