My freind just signed up for Prepaid legal and was trying to get me to sign up. I was just wondering if anyone has it, has used it and if it is a pyramid scam?

My neighbor sells it/gets ppl to sign up for it. You can make money at it but there are monthly costs. I haven't signed up for it yet if that tells you anything though.

We can enroll through my work and have it payroll deducted. I believe a few do have it, but don't know if any of them have ever tried to use it. I don't think it's a pyramid scam, but I also don't see why I would need it.

Some are scams, some are not.

But likely the lawyer will try to up sell his/her services.

Beauty of the internet, you can research it!!!!

Also try contacting local BBB, Better Business Bureau.

It seems like some people like and some do not. they say it depends on what you use it for. I guess im going to do more research on this.

Don't do it. My g/f's brother was involved with them and I signed up. The first time I went to use them I called and they advised me. That's where their obligation stopped. I could never talk to the same person twice. I had to do all the footwork /paperwork myself. Biggest scam I've ever been involved with.
