I highly doubt they would be any good! Like bobtsgt said they are beat hard before they give out. I konw where i work we would take them out side and hold the gas to the floor until they stopped!

Yeah even if you were able to they would be beat to hell and back, do the old put it in neutral strap a brick to the gas pedal and watch for a piston to fly through the hood.

Might depend on where you got the car. Not all dealers did anything to "kill" the motor. We watched as some dealers let people strip parts off while the wreckers were hooking up to others.

I would think heads would be fine, the shortblock is what gives.....if you are doing heads you will be doing springs and valve job anyway ......I hope....

I would think as long as you had the heads tanked at the machine shop they'd be fine.

i have gotten some of the heads of c4c motors there not hurt! what gets killed is the shortblocks it glues the cranks in them. the heads just need hot tanked to get the shit outta them and then do the normal repair to them!
