1984 Volvo 242

I am thinking about selling my '84 242. It has very little rust for this part of the country, and is fairly straight. As best we can tell, it was originally a B21FT/M46 car, and has been converted to a B230F with LH2.2 and an AW71, complete with tone rear end and electric speedometer. The interior is a custom vinyl peanut-butter and black cloth interior, with a spotless black headliner. The sunroof operates smoothly. It has power mirrors and windows. It has been dealer-converted to R134a.

The car runs and drives flawlessly. It drives straight, stops straight, and has no bad habits. It has a loose heat shield that rattles a bit on acceleration, but quits when cruising. The dome light bulb is also out. Both will be fixed before the car is sold.

The 5.0 swap "kit" is available from Converse Engineering. SBC swaps are also fairly straight-forward.
