Dust Sheilds

Does anyone know if 99-04 dust sheilds will work for a 1991 5 lug conversion... I'm using 1994 spindles........ I was going to buy some new one's from ford but they don't make them anymore!!!!!! and the only new one's I can find are 99-04 one's.....

If your using 94 spindles then I dont see why they wouldnt work because pretty much everything brake wise is interchangeable in 94-04. If for w/e reason they dont work though, dont even worry about it. I cut my dust shields off to have better clearance for my X2 ball joints and theres no difference in anything.

I screwed out the pop rivets in mine and took them off, I had to so the ball joints could get clearance and I havent had any problems yet. I was just searching through a CJ Pony Parts magazine though and I checked and they had 94-95, 96-98, and 99-04 shields if you do want to use them.

I just called CJ and they don't have them either :O( oh well I'll prolly just go without them I guess......... unless I can find some at a junk yard

The magazine I checked was a year or 2 old, didnt think it would matter o well my bad man. You'll be fine without running them.
