Was a weekend filled with ups and downs. Ken hooked me up with a tune late friday to give the car some more juice.

Had some issues with the initial program and didn't get to run it on saturday.

This morning they got the bugs worked out, but unfortunately my open comp class was almost done running by the time i got everything loaded and working. I had to rush to the lanes as the class was half ran, and i had to run hot after a 30 minute drive with 0 cool down time.

the car still went a 13.17 with it's highest mph in the upper 104's. I figured my goal of 12's at the world finals was over. :(

I was positive the car would go 12'.s Ken said to start cooling the car and he was going to try to get us a free run at some point to try to crack the 12's.

After 2 hours of cooling someone pointed out that the 1/4 mile bracket class hadn't run yet, i ran up and signed up for the class. I had to pick my e.t. so i said lets go right past the 9.s and go for 8's and dial a 12.89.

I was lined up next to a v6 2010 mustang. she went first as she was dialed in the 14's. she left, my light came down and i left.

At the big end I was about 2 cars ahead of her i think.. I said to myself. Either she ran horrible, or I did something right!!

Pulled to the tower. and

I was rewarded with a timeslip of a 12.75@108 mph!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so frikin stoked and it made the whole weekend worthwhile. I had 10 hours of sleep in 3 days and was flat wore out, but it was definately worth it!

I really want to thank Ken , the MD Crew and all the people behind the scenes that helped get everything worked out on the tune!

I saw the run, pretty amazing. You should have heard all of the "wows" and "whats" coming from the stands, people couldn't believe it. They had the SHO engine at the Ford Racing booth, I was amazed at how small the turbos were. 12.75 in that heavy of a car was awesome to see.

Wow, I wish Cameron and I could have stuck around. That's at least 450hp at the flywheel to trap 108 with the weight of that vehicle! How did the car 60' on that run? Congrats as the first SHO in the 12's.

I was just talking to my wife yesterday after a SHO comercial came on about how you may have the fastest SHO right now. Now you're in the 12's

Right on man!

car 60' 1.90. best i've had so far is 1.88's

there is still a little tweaking to be done on the tune, hopefully we can datalog some this week and get some more info

drivetrain actually felt pretty solid, it didn't really launch any harder, i think keeping 60's in that range or just a tad better shouldn't stress it too bad

as long as the tranny holds up on the shifts, i think the car can go high 11's

I'm wondering how well those GT15's are handling the amount of flow your asking of them and curious if you having any type of boost drop off at the upper end. You're probably pushing those twins pretty hard. Will you eventually upgrade them?

Great time btw. Does the car feel as fast as you're running in the quarter?

it feels good!!!!! :)

the boost actually drops off from the factory on the upper r's, weird boost curve, at least from the factory

Just wait until we can tune it the right way. This was a track only more boost tune that was made safe since we didn't have time to do proper datalogging and fine tuning. I'd say 11's will be possible on race gas if the driveline will hold up.

Nice times beef. I was just on svtp an there a thread in the pics and video buffet about sho's. Had one of your videos on from e20. Supposedly there is a video on youtube of one running 12.5s. I didn't read the thread as it was 6 or so pages.

Wait until this Friday night at EW. Cool air, and a little spray on the starting line. You may be in the 6's. or better, before the night is over.

i saw that post, i've searched you tube with every possible combo, i have seen no vid and i'm on the sho forums and everywhere else and no one no where has seen it

i think the guy was just being an a$$

i'm seeing post on kansas city forums and all over about my run

if there was a 12.5 running around a week or 2 ago, someone else would have seen it other than 1 person

This is an off topic and somewhat goofy question Terry...
Do those cars come with a factory boost gauge?
