View Full Version : If you have a gigantic stroller...

You know, one of those giant assed 50lb strollers that could make a dent in solid concrete if dropped from a 20 ft ledge...
Stop taking it to crowded events, because you're a selfish asshole.
There is no need to wheel one of those things around at Oktoberfest, Taste of Cincinnati, or any gatherings where far too many people are packed shoulder-to-shoulder into a small area. That giant stroller is one of the biggest problems at those events. (That and morbidly obese people in wheelchairs.) If you want to bring your kid, fine, I have no issue with that, but how about bringing a stroller that doesn't take as much as 3 grown men?
And don't be surprised when I turn around and break the wheels off of your push-along Pontiac Aztek after the 5th or 6th time you ram that fucking thing into my heels. It's not a god damned battering ram, so back the fuck up off me.
Eatadick and have a lovely day.
ha ha been there. I one time took someones cart at kroger and flung it down an isle for ramming into my heal.... twice. Second time and off it went, food and purse and all. She was lucky her kid was walking along side and not riding in it.
I for one will be one of those people after the second one is born...sorry Paul! The double stroller will be rolling!

Dude, yesterday at the Pumpkin run, we were on the bus waiting to get our ride from the parking lot to the fairgrounds and this couple with 2 kids about 5-6 and a huge stroller tried to get on, after 5 minutes of trying to fit it between each row bumping into every one and everything, while everyone moved, he got it to the back and we were off! Good times:o

We used to have one of the long ones, I absolutely hated that thing more than I've ever hated anything.
The long ones are better than the stupid side-by-side ones! You can't even get them through a doorway damn near.

I don't care if you own one of those strollers, but there's absolutely no need to take it anywhere even remotely crowded.
And I've seen a trend lately of people buying those strollers to cart their little dogs around in. Seriously? It's a dog. If it can't walk where you go, you probably should have bought one that can, or just left the damn dog at home.

You will think that till you get one. We tried the front/back one for a week, then we tried a side by side. The side by side is the same width as a wheelchair, so many places that are Handicapped accessible will allow easy movement of the stroller.
As far as running people over. If LRs would get the hell out of the way I wouldnt nudge them with my big stroller.:flipoff:

Well when I'm in front of you, and 50 people are stacked up in front of me, that stroller better stay the hell away from my heels.

I prefer an umbrella stoller, unless we are gonna be gone for awhile, then we take the bigger one. Its not one of those huge ones, but its alot bigger than the umbrella.
Its all about courtesy.
