What is this?

I have a 2008 GT. I need to know what this device is. Mounted underneath the trunk where the spare tire is, there is a small box with some wiring running into it. It has something to do with ABS, Traction Control, etc. does anyone know exactly what this device is. I had a ground hog, yes a ground hog, climb up into the car last night, above the rear end and chew some wiring that goes to this box. I start the car and have ABS light, my traction control is off (no big deal), and engine light is on. Also, anywhere in northern ky that I can buy 20 gauge strand wire for the repair? There is a total of eight wires that are damaged, they all go from this box throw a rubber gommit into the area of the trunk right behind bad left seat.
