So I've come across 500 bucks and cant decide what I'd like to do with it. Been thinking about lowering the car and make it look like it should. If I go with that what springs would you suggest? I could also go with a catless x or h pipe and get retuned or even some other engine mods to get a few more hp out of it. Or I could get a rear set of 10.5 rims. Its not much money to play with but more will come. I'll take other suggestions also. My other thought was to get a compact .45 glock for carry use. Decisions decisions.

well to me you're car is still so squeeky that I wouldnt want to do much to it but that's me....... and right now i'm getting ready to buy a glock so I figured if you had a glock to cc and someone ever jacked with you while you're in the car you'd be able to defend it lol

I've seen spring in the 300s. Not sure what other people around here are running. I'd like to hear from someone who has one lowered and get info from them.

You might be able to pick up a o/r x cheap a guy on daytonstangboard.com is selling one off his 03 GT BBK they fit Cobras to and still be able to lower it. I dont have mine lowered though so I cant chime in on that.

hmm... if I had an extra $500 for my cobra I would buy a set of gears for the rear. Lowering would cost right about that amount though so I say gears or lower.

just be careful of which cobra owner you jack... they might have already spent their $500 on their own Glock...:D

i used to have a glock 21 45 auto but i didnt like it very much so i sold it and bought a glock 22 .40 cal. its the best handgun ive ever owned and ive owned alot. the .40's arent as wide as the .45's. a 40 is a faster bullet and is just a little smaller. i think the compact version of the 40 is a model 23.

that's the one i'm getting is the 23, and for sure I like the knock down of a 45 but the larger cap of the 40, but with more punch than a 9.... I'm not a 9 fan.... and I agree with the off season comment, you can get a lot of range time in the winter, and i wouldnt let a snow flake touch your cobra

You guys almost have me convinced of getting the glock. Its up in the air over the compact .40 and compact .45 I was looking at both today. The 40 was 479 I think and the 45 was 529 at Loveland shooters supply. No real size difference between the 2. Was kind of leaning torwards the 45 but want to do more research first.

If you plan on shooting alot I would go with the .40 just for the cost of ammo!

Well if you decide to lower, Eibach Sportline or Pro springs IMO are the best and are around 250 bucks. With that being said I did buy a S&W 40 cal sigma a while back instead of puttin the money into the car.

I was up there as well. Never been to the hara arena show. Pricing was no better than local shops. I didn't pick anything up. Waiting on loveland shop to get the .40 in this week.
