I'd like to... went 4 rounds in Bracket 3 last weekend...
Starting to get back in a groove... We'll see how my racing goes between now and then and if I'm doing decent, I'll be up... going from a .500 sportsman tree to the .400 pro tree is a challenge...

If I don't blow the engine up in BG, I'll be there. Should be fun to run the car on a real race tire rather than these crappy BFGs (launch at 7K finally). I'm going to take all the weight out but I don't think I'll be able to run close enough to a 6.5 to do any good. I'll at least have some fun! :bigthumb

Its heads up because of the pro tree but not in the traditional sense. You want to be closest to the 7.50 index as possible without breaking out. So you dont wanna run it all out unless your car runs 7.50s all day hehe. Qualifying is based on who is closest to 7.50 then slower then quicker so basically the further away you are from the mark by breaking out the lower position you'll qualify for. If someone runs a 7.62 in competition and you run a 7.47, you lose.

Ricky..name of the game is to run a 7.50 or higher..but as close as you can get to it. So in your case...you need to lose a bit et...either lower your shift rpm,add some weight to your car (probably 100#..maybe 150 would get you close), pull some timing out, or just run it flat out till you get on the top end and lift.
