So I will be working on a good setup for my 89 notch this offseason. Anyone have any pointers.....
Its a 306ci turbo car, I was told the car made 670rwhp with an open dp and 16psi, not sure where I want the power to be but I just want the car to hook up better then it did this past weekend!

if thats a stock block crank it down before you split the block def take it to one of the local shops and have it tuned, and set around 550 thats still pushin it tho. adam at cincy speed is really good with turbo cars i hear

Its actually as pretty badass motor, its a boss block from FRPP, and Sonny Bryant Crankshaft so I think it can handle the power....just need to find where I want it to be and get the suspension setup to handle it.

So how did you do on the prostarts and sticky(er) tires? I saw you melt off the Nitto's to about the 1/8th mile(badass btw ).
Looked to me like it was one wheel peeling though?
I haven't got to use it yet, but the Team Z suspension pieces are really nice. I can comment on the fitment which was awesome, and have heard nothing but good things from the people who are using it.

I was a little confused by the one wheel spin myself.....
The other tires were not much better, Spun real bad in first and basically pedaled the rest of the way....

My long burnout....
Any idea on springs???
How much weight does a tubular k-member really save? I have heard 75lbs, and as little as 15lbs.....Too much work for 15lbs...

The space you free up and the weight savings are well worth it especially on a turbo car. Its way more then 15lbs.lol

Depends on which k member. For example, the MM doesn't weigh much less than stock, whereas my Team Z is considerably lighter than the stock piece.
Like Bo said though, even if they weighed the same, I'd still get one just for clearance and the room to work on the car easier.

I can't really comment on any but a Team Z as that's what I have, but I believe UPR bought someone else's jig's to make their k members so it's not even their design. At least that was a while ago, they might have their own design now. I also know a bunch of NMRA cars run UPR stuff currently, so who knows?
I picked Team Z because they are close (MI) and Dave offers great customer service.

How big was the pucker mark in the seat when it broke the tires loose at the 1/8th?
