View Full Version : I need a new powered sub, any recommendatons

I will probably get a 10", I don't need anything crazy expensive, looking for good bang/buck. I don't want any Walmart crap either. Lmk if you have something for sale, or what you have that you like.
My current sub is a 8" pioneer powered sub, it worked just fine for my needs, until the amp crapped out. I could replace the amp, but that would be more trouble than it's worth. Thanks, Brian

kicker comp vr's, the best for the buck to me, i had 2 12 inch kicker comps a few years ago, the box ripped befor the speaker ever blew, till this day they still work, and a power accustic amp is pretty good to, if your not looking for nothing spictacular then that kind of amp would do, there not too exspensive either

ah lol okay, didnt know you were talking about home audio, in that case i'd go with another pioneer, you may of just had a bad one, they can usually take a beating and still work

I have a JBL 10 inch and it has taken an ass beating the last 5 years and works as good as it did new.

In high end gaming audio (not studio stuff)...Klipsch is the brand to go with...so I would also assume they kick ass for HA as well.
