For those who haven't heard here is the story on it and a little good come from it from someone else. I hate that guy. I've seen other videos of him acting like a damn fool trying to throw around his weight because he's a big shot in his mind.

Actually, I read that her performance was pre recorded, non the less he's a douche bag for what he did.
I'm still not over his comment " George Bush doesn't care about black people ".

This was really quite the week for idiotic behavior. First the representative from South Carolina during the joint session of Congress, followed by Serena Williams' meltdown at the US Open and then Kanye West.

You must have forgotten with the Democrats boo'd GWB right? Not to mention the fact that he was lying about the illegals and got called out on it. I'm just sorry Joe Wilson apologized. If B.O. wasn't straight lying to us, they wouldn't have changed their position on checking ID's the next day.

It is inappropriate for anybody from any party to boo the President during a speech to Congress. You want to call him a liar or boo him outside the People's House, feel free. Wilson was an idiot for what he did; anyone else that does likewise falls into the same category. Why do you think the members of his own party went out of the way to go on the media immediately after the speech and urge Wilson apologize?

Here is a non-partisan analysis of the legislation regarding health care reform. There is no Senate bill.

Because its politics and nothing more. I completely agree that it was disrespectful, but the people who called for his apology did it because of politics, not because it didn't need said.

Even I am not cynical enough to believe that the Republicans were playing politics by calling for his apology. There are certain things you just don't do when the President addresses the nation during a joint session of Congress. If the Republicans really wanted to play politics, they would have cheered Wilson on, since he has become the newest hero of the lunatic fringe. I have no problem if he had simply stated his opinion elsewhere.

Again, nobody is disputing whether or not it was appropriate. Obviously it was disrespectful but no more disrespectful than they've dished out themselves. It's all about playing politics whether your believe it or not. Some people will stand by their convictions and others will play the game.

If standing by your convictions were enough, then Timothy McVeigh wouldn't be a terrorist and mass murderer, right?

Kanye is a piece of shit. Also, if anyone knows anything about the MMA Bigshow at the Belterra, I had a couple friends fighting last weekend so i decided to go watch. Excellent show. The only hitch in the program was an ignorant piece of shit from Cincinnati named Dominique Steel. The guy has no class and if for some reason he is allowed to fight again, i highly recommend avoiding the fights that night. Very good fighter but a real shitbag when it comes to sportsmanship.

Go back through history and you'll see it happens quite regulary. It's only a big deal because it was Comrade Obama who got called out.

Several of those all over the web. There is no plan or attempt to make one to check status of individuals BEFORE they receive benefits. So by saying there is no provision to give illegals health care is disingenuous when there is no provision to prevent it.

Mingry,
When's the last time a member of Congress did what Wilson did while any President was speaking during a joint session? I'm not talking about the booing; that has happened before--even though it shouldn't. What Wilson did was indefensible; all he had to do was wait a few minutes until the speech was over and the joint session ended. I can't believe people can't distinguish the difference between dissent, whether civil or uncivil in tone, and insulting the office of the President.

Joe Wilson, for President!
OOPS! Did I blurt that out, during a joint session, of STANGBANGERZ?
Please observe.... thus was a sorry attempt at humor.
And, BTW, I did agree with BHO's assessment, of Kanye!

Kanye's taking a beating and I'm loving it. He can boohoo anywhere he wants but I don't think many people are buying it. Enjoy!

It was ALL a big publicity stunt. They knew he was going to do that! It's all over the news today. He gets exposure, Taylor gets exposure, and even Beyonce gets exposure. That was all prewritten for the show.
I don't like Kanye, and Taylor Swift's music blows. I'd rather hear Beyonce than either one of them, if I had a choice. But give me the Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Pink Floyd, or some real music to listen to. :tongue2:
