found this out.......


it say not street legal or not for sale. because when it comes from ford it is not finished. it has to go to shelby to get the s/c and the rest of the kr package. only then is it for sale and street legal. it has to have the shelby price adjustment window sticker on it to sell it.. to after it comes from shelby the ford sticker is no good.

there is a thread on our local board about a guy who wrecked his KR and the trouble he is having to get parts for it. I think quoted prices for a hood, some stripes, and a fender is about 33k dollars and he has to send the parts back to shelby to get new ones.

you cannot get a kr hood without supplying the old hood first. shelby is being real wierd about that stuff

Sounds like trying to get a Saleen painted. I'm pretty sure certain Saleen paints are not obtainable.

That is correct. I tried to get the beryllium copper code from them and they were total asshats to me.

I know a guy who did a mold of the limited "Hot Pants" body kit for the Pinto... It'd be like the "you can only make a copy for your own use" copyright laws. I'd have a mold stashed away for that awful day...
