ok guys, got a e303 cam and i got to change lower intake gaskets anyways. so i was thinking about puttting it in at same time. what all am i going to need. do you have to take nose off car to do it and how much power will i pick up with the e303 from stock

New timing chain, hardened cam retainer, I always put an ARP cam bolt in cuz their like 5 bucks. Timing cover gasket set, some rtv. you have to pull the radiator, and a/c stuff if its in there still.

e cams arent that bad im not a real big fan of alphabet cams either, but it will def have a good sound to it... pickin up power with it ahh not to much but it will rev out much better , stock cam stops pulling at 4800 should shift the car about 5500 with that e cam

what heads are you running??? ... if you have stock heads or gt40/gt40p's, why change the stock cam out??? ... its a good fit with some 1.72 rockers ...

just change cam out to make sound alittle better and all it is doing is sitting on my toolbox anyways

Completely agree, especially if you have stock E7 heads.

i am trying to save up to run those new edelbrock e tech heads and a performer rpm intake with the e cam since i got another motor and when it goes in i am gonna put this motor in a f150
