Well I may be just as bad as Beefcake. I am trading off my 1989 WSP SSP white coupe for a full restored 1988 Florida Highway Patrol SSP. I hope to bringing her home this weekend. Here are a couple pics I have of her for now.

Not much left to do to get it 100% correct. So now I can have a show car and a car to beat the snot out of.
Sweet! That thing looks great. I'd love to own an SSP. Congrats on the new toy

 I bought the WSP in May and it is already going bye-bye. I know I am a hypocrite after winning the date you would sell the Cobra. :bigthumb...actually I am the same way. If I keep a car more than a year it is a miracle

Thanks, The FL SSP's were the first I ever saw in person. I thought the WSP car was going to be to boring being all white...thought I would go a different route. :cool2:

Here are couple pics I took when I got home and washed her up. The guy I bought it from did an excellent job on the restoration...so no "Projects Section" for this pony.

Thanks! :bigthumb Yep that was me, coming back from IL after picking her up.
ALSO....FYI Indiana State Police have unmarked newer Mustang patrol cars all over the Indianapolis area. Saw two, one was black the other dark grey. So if one pulls up to you with solid black windows don't do anything stupid.

In OH you can not display any law enforcement emblem unless you are a LEO. But to avoid any problems I just choose to cover them. I also have covers for all the red and blue lights. The only place this car can not go is FL. In FL it is illegal to have a black and tan car (FHP Style). CA has the same law about black with white doors. (CHP Style).

The plate is actually for my '94...but I had to get her home.
...and a blower will make it under the hood of it soon.
