It now has a huge radiator in it, a 3 row aluminum unit. Should tame the beast when we get it done.

WOW!! Thank you!! Whole new car!

With the new drive line and complete rear suspension setup, you can truly feel that 100% of the cars power is being transplanted to the ground. The street radials just go up in smoke and the car feels really tight. Hitting the gas around 3k rpm the car pulls like a train all the way through the gears. Not surprisingly by looking at the dyno graph of 325rwtq that carries strong until 5750rpm.

Another job well done by the guys (and gal ;)) at Dayton Performance!!!

When I dropped, or towed rather, the car off; The trans was gone, clutch was toast, and the motor leaked oil from every possible place it could. Now I have a car built to handle just about whatever I can throw at it. :icon_rockon:

You guys have a customer for life!!

Thanks! The street manners aren't bad, minus the full spool. Definitely have to disconnect the anti roll bar first too. Was thinking about getting a set of S type Saleens for the street. Mike's Vert has convinced me that those are hands down the sexiest wheels on a mustang!

Man, I never cared for the SN95's until the last year or two. For some reason, I am really wanting an SN95 Cobra, set up just like this! With alot of dope on it though lol. I think they are just plain SEXY! Good luck man, your deffinitely doing everything right to run in the UMTR!

The wheels I have on it now don't have the right back spacing. I have to run spacers front and rear. Anyone know the right size 15'' wheel bs needed?

dsmawd350
12-11-2009, 04:19 PM
if you have a 5.5 backspace now and running .5'' spacer to get it to sit right you will want a 5'' backspace........ running a 4'' backspace now and a 1'' spacer you will want a 3'' bs, etc.

to measure to backspace you have now go to the backside of the wheel and measure from the mounting surface to the inside lip of the wheel

looks nice mark :bigthumb ... love the sn95's ... can you post your dyno graph? ... how much hp did it make and how far did it carry? ... just really curious what the stage 2 cam did for that combo, versus what most people run in the stage 1 ... including me 8-9 years back ...

nice build ... shawns should be done in 2-3 weeks ... thanks for the parts by the way ...

Thanks! Still tweaking the tune but it sits now at 308rwhp/325rwtq. Let off at 6k.

I'll post the dyno sheet when it's locked down. Car runs great, can't wait for 2010 UMTR!! http://www.buckeyestangs.com/vb/images/smilies/imported/box.gif

I would estimate this combo with a stage 1 at around 285 or so. I would say maybe 15 to 20 hp more than the stage 1, but like I said, that's an estimate.

cantlose made 302 with the stage 1 and street heat intake, thats why i wanted to see the graph ... i had that combo back in 1999-2000, i was just curious to see how quick it peaked, then flat lined ... just trying to learn what that cam does, i was told by foxlake to run it with my 331 ...

if you could post something i would appreciate it ... thanks ...

No problem. This car would have made more power if it didn't have the SN intake elbow and had higher compression, it's only around 8.8 to one. If it was a fox, it would have made 300 rwhp. Since it isn't and has the lower compression, that's why this hp level is what it is. Posting the graph is up to Mark or one of the guys at the shop. Remember his torque is going to be higher due to the much longer length of his intake due to the elbow.
