Drove a 2011 Fiesta yesterday it wasnt too bad had some cool bells and whistles....... the people doing the test drives didnt hardly know a thing about them but still cool.. the front end reminded me of a new Lancer...

I drove a bright red 5 speed with leather it was pretty nice had the voice command set up but it didnt quite work right you have to speak very loud and very clear to make it work but yea I'd DD one... said it got 40 mpg and had about 120 hp was peppy

The reviews in the auto press has been very favorable. If only we could get the Focus RS in the States.

I think they're ugly. For the life of me, I can't figure out why Ford hasn't come out with some sort of mid size AWD turbo car to compete with the EVO's, WRX's and the like. There's a huge buyers market out there that's into the hopping up the imports that they need to tap into, and the focus just doesn't cut it. The ecoboost looks like a great candiate motor, but it'll probably never make its way into anything light and sporty, which is where it should be to begin with.
Did I mention AWD + Turbo?

I have asked the same question year after year. As the supra and rx7 were out ford came up with the probe? the gt wasnt a bad car but no 93 supra or rx7. The eclipse went unchallenged by ford and chevy. American auto makers need to get into the tuner market. The cobalt ss is nice and I do like it but its not the same. evo and wrx unchallenged by america. You want newer american you get a family ride, a truck based vehicle, an eco box, or a higher priced muscle typ car. Also whats with gm throwing ss on everything? I saw a malibu max ss today? WTF... The impala and monte carlo with the v8 are beautiful. The cobalt with the sc is cool. But the 4 door auto 4cyl cobalt ss, the mailbu ss, including the max is just stupid. At least the trailblazer ss is cool.

SHO is a full size ride. That's like saying the Mazdaspeed6 is the new STI.

The price tag is also higher for the SHO. The market looks to be at the Lexus is250 awd, Audi S4, BMW 335xi.

They really need to bring the Focus RS over.

I agree. The Focus RS has about the same power as the Mustang, would be similarly priced, and run rings around the Mustang GT.

If it is anything like the Mazda6 v6, you'd have to move and gut the firewall. A couple guys tried it with the Mazda3 which is the same chassis as the Focus.
