Looking for a dependable truck, under $2k. :D
NO diesels
NO crazy gas hogs IE: F350's, duallys, ect.
Ranger, S-10, or fullsize reg cab short bed would be nice.
Whatcha got? :cool1:

I have 98 Ram. 1/2 ton sport. Reg. cab short bed. 360 w/auto and 3.90 LS. 2wd. Green exterior, gray cloth int. factory Infinity sound and every option except leather. This truck is very reliable. Only issue I've had was I shattered the transmission case @ 75k miles. It was replaced per insurance at Moser Dodge and has no trouble since. Overall truck has 170k. Newer: Fuel pump (mopar), ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm, water pump, and the truck also has custom one piece drive shaft from spicer. Factory Class IV towing package with big alternator and aux oil coolers. Handling package. Window sticker is in the glove box still. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere tonight. Also has an Accel tune up kit from Summit.
The bad:
1 Its a dodge so it does have rust. weak cosmetics: Cab is solid, bumpers are rusty, doors are starting.
2 The A/C stopped working at 50k miles and has a large leak at the condensor (looks like an O-ring) If its charged with a can it blows cold for about 90 seconds till it leaks out.
3 since its a truck the inside of the bed does have scratches/dents.
4 Needs Toe set, I replaced the tie rods and let my sister borrow it for a few weeks, It doesn't pull but it is scrubbing the front tires.
The good:
1. truck will pull just about anything
2 Will never leave you stranded.
3 mechanically sound
4 Will still Wax a 1 gen lightning and new Crew cab tundras:)
5 still have both factory keyless entry FOBS and both are working
Let me know if you would be interested, I have found a coupe I would like to get back into otherwise I would keep it as a mule.
