I was on there too. Got to be on the commercial too, was cool when my little girl said Daddy! and pointed at the TV one day, and shit, it was me! Matt drove my little small block, cough cough, like he stolt it! Had a great time, they got the group hug at the end too. lol. Was a cool experience, thanks Kelly for making it happen!

What guy? You mean Kelly? Yes, he does and if you want proof, the car is sitting at my shop! lol. A lot of people didn't buy into the fact that the race was real and somebody really did loose their car, I was one of those people till I saw it first hand.
Most of the money went into the engine, trans and suspension. A lot of that was donated by manufacturers and businesses that support the board. The members donated money, parts, and elbow grease, too. It was a collective effort to honor our buddy Vinny.

That's the point I was trying to make. It took more than just one person, it was a group, that's what got us into the winners circle and brought home two cars. I cherish the memories and the pictures and videos from that night. I wish we could do something like that again, but the show is but a memory now, and I don't see anything quite as cool coming along for a long time, as far as TV programs go.
